So fire alarm went off tonight.
Happens all the time.
But tonight when we called downstairs and opened the door, we could smell the smoke.
Immediately my mind went into a panic. I turned to Matthew and said, "What should we bring?!"
His response: THE BABY!
It ended up being just a stove-top disaster costing the building thousands of dollars, but it really made me think... If I only had 30 seconds to decide, what would I bring? What would I do? What would you do? What would you bring?
Needless to say, I brought the baby.

Good choice. Babies are irreplaceable. I think I'd bring ours and a diaper bag.
